“Brian, Since using the badger and pick packer, I feel spoiled. When I opened the package, I though “Oh, they screwed up with the sewing of the pick packer.” Then realized that you were way ahead of me because the lower part is a cradle to direct the handle away from your leg. It is an excellent design because it is lightweight and has no metal. The pick is awesome also. I bought the Badger figuring I would use it as a back up to the pick I have that is similar size as the Talon. I decided to try out the Badger and I haven’t used that old pick ever since. I have tried using magnets on my old pick and they never worked right, but with your magnet holders, the magnets stay put and are protected from breaking when diggin’ in the bedrock. Recently, I found a nugget down 14″ in the bedrock and the Badger tore up the ground. It was the deepest bedrock nugget I have found. I would have spent over an hour to get it with my old pick and probably would have needed a roto-hammer. I am so happy with the Badger that I am ordering the 30” Talon.” Thanks.Matt

company’s integrity. I received your refund check for the overage on the shipping and just want to say that’s unheard of. Thank You.
 
             Now about the Pick. I think that I mentioned to you that my site is 9 miles and a 4 1/2 hour trek from the closest parking. I have used many different “Picks” over the 30 + years and have always have had to resort back to my old 22 pound er because the durability of the other picks just wouldn’t hold up in the hard pack that I’m working. The handles would come loose or break, the tip would bend or what ever and I would just have to get rid of them and use old dependable.
              This pick is well built and very sturdy, no play what so ever in the handle and the arrangement of the strategically  placed super magnets  is awesome  as not to interfere with the business end of this pick.  
 
             The Apex Pick is lite-weight and sturdy and easy to handle. It breaks up the hard pack with ease and I’m able to use it all day without tiring. I know that it was designed as a pick for Metal Detector est but I have to say that this pick works fantastic in the hard pack also. I did take my old dependable pick with me, but won’t be bringing with me any more because of the quality product you build and so proudly put your name on.
